     In this space, I share relevant resources and ideas that I have accumulated over the years as an English language learner, a parent, and through my professional experience as an educator. As an educator, I spent most of my career doing what I love most: leading and advocating for bilingual students. As a parent, I have guided, supported and advocated for my own children while they attended a Spanish dual-language immersion school.

 

     There is a wealth of information and resources available for bilingual learners, but a lack of support for their parents. Through collaborating with parents, teachers, and students to improve and maximize educational services for bilingual learners, I have become passionate about advocating for change in this area. This is what has motivated me to develop this website specifically to help parents of bilinguals.
